Our Story

Your partner in carpet per diem

CarpetDiem started on a show floor, watching good flooring get torn out and tossed, and wondering why a booth floor has to be a single-use expense. We have been working on the answer ever since.

We were tired of waste

We produce trade shows. Thousands of people, a convention center, months of planning, and one very good day when the booths finally come to life and a first-time exhibitor lands their first real conversation. We love that part of this business.

What we did not love was standing in the hall after move-out. Beautiful flooring, used for three days, getting pulled up and thrown away while exhibitors paid for a floor they would never see again. Even the carpet that did get reused had no story behind it: nobody knew how many shows it had been through, how much life was left in it, or what any of it was really costing.

That bugged us enough to start a company. Booth flooring should not be a single-use line item. So we supply sustainable modular tile built to be rented, cleaned, and used again show after show: less waste, a lower cost per event, and a better-looking floor. And because "yeah, we reuse it" is not something you can put in a report, we are building the tracking that turns that claim into a number you can actually check.

What we are passionate about

Cost, quality, and sustainability usually pull against each other in this industry. Our whole model exists to improve all three at the same time.

Cost

Rented, reused tile spreads the cost of a floor across many shows instead of charging every exhibitor for a floor that gets used once. Damage costs a tile, not a whole booth's worth of carpet.

Quality

Commercial-grade recycled nylon rated for heavy contract traffic, cleaned and inspected between every show, so a booth on day three still looks like a booth on day one.

Sustainability

Sustainable material today, and a deployment-tracking system in development, so reuse can eventually be reported with a number rather than a claim you have to take on faith.

Why CarpetDiem exists

We are building CarpetDiem to make booth flooring measurable: sustainable tile today, supplied to the crews who already do the work, with a tracking system in development.

Designed for events

Commercial-grade recycled nylon tile in popular trade show colors like grays, blues and beige, rated for heavy foot traffic, rolling carts, and long days that define a trade show.

Modular by design

Tile reconfigures to any booth plan without recutting. When a piece is damaged, you replace that tile instead of the whole floor.

Easier on your crews

Two-foot tiles are carried and set by hand, with no adhesive, no heavy rolls, and no cutting against the clock. Less strain means fewer incidents, and fewer incidents means lower workers compensation exposure.

Join the movement to count booth flooring

Show organizers, general contractors, and partners: we supply the tile, we are building the records, and your crews keep the floor.
