CarpetDiem is modular carpet tile that we own, clean and send out again. It looks better, it handles better, and it leaves the venue on a pallet.
Exhibitors spend months on the graphics, the furniture and the lighting, then accept whatever carpet comes with the booth. It is the largest single surface a visitor sees and it is the one nobody chose.
We built CarpetDiem because that floor can be much better without costing much more. Ours is commercial modular tile, rated for airport and stadium traffic, patterned and laid so it reads as texture rather than wear. It goes down without adhesive on the venue floor, and when a tile gets damaged you lose that tile rather than a strip of the whole roll.
Then, because we own it and take it back, it goes out again to the next show instead of into a skip.
September 2026, Nashville. 2,400 square feet across five booths and a lounge, installed by the show's general contractor on their normal schedule, alongside everything else on the floor.
The reaction we did not plan for. Exhibitors, attendees and our own team, unprompted, all week. One sponsor told us he would pay more for it.
A two-person crew who had never seen the product laid it with no floor adhesive and no instruction from us. Electrical ran underneath without lifting or rocking.
We cut four tiles out of 600. That is 0.67% of the floor, and cut tiles get reused at the next junction box.
From a fifteen-year installer who had never seen it before: "I haven't seen anything like this." And from another: "I thought I would hate it. It's not that bad."
