Your partner in carpet per diem

Real booths, real exhibitors, and what they wanted from their flooring.

Case study: BHT Impact

BHT Impact is a youth mental health nonprofit, and many of the young adults in its community care deeply about climate change. When the organization exhibited at a national behavioral health conference in 2026, it wanted a booth that reflected those values. Knowing that carpet is the single highest carbon emitting build material at trade shows, the team was excited to find a more sustainable option and chose CarpetDiem modular tile for the booth floor.

On carpet as the highest emitting build material at events: isla, A Closer Look: Materials, July 17, 2026. The report draws on more than 6,400 materials entries logged across 789 events.

Anjlee Joshi, Project Director at BHT Impact, on why the booth floor mattered.

The result was a booth that looked like a living room, felt like the brand, and did not send a floor to the landfill after three days. The tile went back into inventory to be cleaned and redeployed at the next show.

For a nonprofit watching its budget, the decision was easy: a sustainable floor at a price comparable to the disposable alternative, with no compromise on style.

The next generation of organizers

BHT Impact is part of a broader shift. The people planning tomorrow's shows are asking harder questions about where booth materials end up.

73% of Gen Z

More than seven in ten Gen Z respondents across 31 markets say they are extremely worried about harm to the environment caused by human activity and climate change. Nearly half say they are personally greatly affected, the highest share of any generation alongside millennials.

63% cite cost first

Two thirds of international associations rate sustainability as very or extremely important to their organization, a 6 percent increase from 2023. Even so, 63 percent name cost as the primary barrier, while 46 percent say they would pay a little bit more for sustainable options.

Cost-effective, stylish, and sustainable is what they are looking for. That is exactly the floor we rent.

Case study: Consulting for Human Services

Stacy DiStefano, CEO of Consulting for Human Services, wanted her booth to feel like a kitchen and invite people to share their favorite recipes. CarpetDiem helped bring that welcoming, one-of-a-kind experience to life from the floor up.

After experiencing CarpetDiem in her booth, Stacy decided she wanted it in her own home after all.
