We built CarpetDiem because that floor can be much better. Ours is commercial modular tile, rated for airport and stadium traffic, patterned and laid so it reads as texture rather than wear. It goes down without adhesive on the venue floor, and when a tile gets damaged you lose that tile rather than a strip of the whole roll.
Then, because we own it and take it back, it goes out again to the next show instead of into a dumpster.
